Mass resignation in AKP: District chair and board step down
AKP Yatağan District Chair Emre Karaöz and the district board announced that they have resigned from their positions due to health and family reasons.

A significant change has taken place in the AKP Yatağan District Organization. Emre Karaöz, who had been serving as district chair since August 2023, announced his resignation in a written statement. It was also announced that the members of the district board of directors resigned en masse along with Karaöz.
In his resignation statement, Karaöz used the following expressions:
"I request to be relieved of my duties as District Chair of Yatağan due to health and family reasons, and I would like to state that I will continue to support this sacred cause, which is embodied in the person of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with all my might outside of active politics. I offer my respects."
At the District Consultation Meeting held in AKP Yatağan, it was stated that a preliminary poll would be conducted to elect the new board following the resignations. During this process, the candidates and the formation of the new board will be carried out under the coordination of the AKP Headquarters Organization Presidency.
