In the March 31 Local Administration General Elections, where 9 candidates competed in Fatih Neighborhood, which has a population of 15 thousand, the new headman Hikmet Demir, who came in first in 23 out of 26 ballot boxes, cleaned up the candidate ballots that were scattered across the streets and avenues following the elections.
Stating that he will serve the residents of the neighborhood with all his might in the new term, Hikmet Demir said, "It is a source of pride for me to serve the neighborhood where I was born and raised."
