Meral Akşener casts her vote: It was very difficult to be independent and free

İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener arrived at her registered polling station in Ankara's Çankaya district. The Chair had cast her vote in Istanbul in previous elections.

This time, Akşener cast her vote at the Türkiye Emlak Bankası Secondary School in Ankara.

"EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE"

Making statements to the press here, Akşener said the following:

"Truly, being free and independent is, of course, very exhausting. It was a process where we faced many slanders. It was a challenging process. I think the election results will be good for us. (For Istanbul) Everything will be fine. Our situation will be good."
