MHP Chairman Bahçeli makes statement regarding his health status

MHP Chairman Bahçeli made a statement regarding the 56th Anniversary of the founding of the MHP. At the beginning of his statement, he provided information about the procedure he underwent and his health status, saying, "Thank God, I have entered a rapid recovery process."

HOW IS HIS HEALTH STATUS?

MHP leader Bahçeli released a written message on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of his party's founding. He began his message by providing information about his health status:

"As you may be aware, I have gone through a period of illness that could happen to anyone, and I have neared the end of my treatment process; thank God, I have entered a rapid recovery process. In this context, I thank the Lord who grants healing. I express my gratitude to my esteemed doctors and healthcare workers who mobilized all the possibilities of medicine, completely excluding negligence and imprudence, leaving no detail out of sight or attention, and demonstrating superhuman dedication during the examination and intervention processes. Furthermore, I share my heartfelt respect and love and offer special thanks to all my fellow party members, every beautiful person of our nation, and the valuable individuals I have known and recognized in different aspects of my life who conveyed their get-well wishes, called to ask how I am, and sent their messages with their prayers and good intentions. As for those who curse, I leave them all to Almighty Allah."

'AS AN ÜLKÜCÜ, I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AWARE OF THE HISTORICAL RESPONSIBILITY I HAVE UNDERTAKEN'

Today is the 56th anniversary of our party's founding. I would have very much liked to converse face-to-face with our community, which is a symbol of virtue, self-sacrifice, and devotion, to commemorate the past, and to speak by uniting the cherished memories of our founding with our future goals. I was even thinking of opening a page of historical confrontation by recounting, from time to time, the specific weight of the Nationalist Movement Party in Turkish democracy and political life, the games played against it, the operations carried out, the endless attacks, the unceasing betrayals, and the ordered and connected defections, through a comprehensive accounting of these 56 years. As long as God grants time, this goal will sooner or later be witnessed in its entirety. As an Ülkücü who has dedicated his life to his cause, his homeland, and his nation, I have always been aware of the historical responsibility I have undertaken and the values and trusts I carry on my head. I have lived all 56 years of the Nationalist Movement Party with consciousness and pride. I have never suffered any breakdown in my struggle for the cause and politics, because I have never even let that cross my mind. The relationship of an Ülkücü with his ideal, to put it in the words of the late Galip Erdem, is the same as the connection and relationship between a lover and the beloved in a true love. The Ülkücü is the pole of reason and the hero of morality. Besides believing in this, I have experienced it by living it.

'WE KEPT OUR IDEALS ALIVE WITH THE LIGHT OF THE DAWN THAT WILL BREAK'

Without entering anyone's tutelage, without wishing evil on anyone, and without saying yes to anyone's whims and base ambitions, we defended the existential rights of the Turkish nation; we kept our ideals alive with the light of the dawn that will break. With the exceptional definition of the late İbrahim Kafesoğlu, we saw and showed that nationalism is a state of mind that occupies the very peak of high morality, providing national and human superiority to man. We made the sacred and sublime heritage that comes from the depths of Turkish history the true axis of our view of life and events. The Nationalist-Ülkücü Movement, which harbors sincere love for the Turkish nation and is nourished by the honor of true belonging, is certainly a brand and addressee of justified praise with its pure ideas, its spotless struggle, its entrusting of its sapling-like children to martyrdom, and its turning of dungeons into stone madrasas. In these days when the world is in chaos, for our Turkey, Turkish nationalism is the safest, most secure, and most powerful port of action and thought. Realizing and expressing that Turkish nationalism is the sole front of resistance against the US President, who has triggered political, economic, and diplomatic crises like a madman since the moment he took office and who is in urgent need of supervision in terms of mental and moral faculties, and against the chaotic international order, will be an overt service to the preservation of our future. I would especially like to remind you that the plan to collapse on and cover Gaza with a mafia-style political method is a time bomb. Saying that Gaza will be taken over from Israel and that the oppressed people of Gaza will be exiled to some regional countries, primarily Egypt and Jordan, is the overbearing tyranny of imperialist banditry. The name of this is neo-plantation colonialism or settler colonialism. The result of this is a tough state of war, for which the stones are being laid, the signal flares are being fired, and the conditions are being created, not only in a regional sense but on a global scale. It should be known that imperialism is the highest stage of colonialism. Where imperialism, which is the bloody and dark command center of global colonialism, will stop after its terrible Gaza project, which countries it will infect, and to what extent and in what measure Turkey will be a target in this architecture of barbarism is a very troublesome and problematic enigma. Because the evacuation of Gaza means challenging Turkey and the Islamic geography. The US President, who is dragging the Israeli Prime Minister's seat in a shabby manner, has made his choice early by serving Zionist ambitions. The appetites to seize Canada as the 51st state, the claims of rights increasing in violence around the Panama Canal and Greenland, and at the same time the escalating trade wars have activated many nightmare scenarios. The Republic of Turkey is the certificate and reward of the tremendous struggle given against the occupiers. The honorable resistance against oppression has been a source of hope for the oppressed. The National Struggle set a barrier against the global crusader wave with the blood of martyrs, and the spirit of national unity and brotherhood was reinforced with the determination of 'either independence or death,' and the decree of our full independence was read. There is no question of bowing down to imperialism and the pawns of imperialism that are lining up to tear up this decree. While this is the case, against the intense storm whose sphere of influence is expanding day by day outside of us, an atmosphere of spring, peace, and tranquility must prevail within us, and all 86 million must stand as one heart against opponents and potential attacks. The ambition of imperialism for sharing and partitioning has hardened significantly. Against this, the Turkish nation must take a stance immediately and without delay, and a medium and existence of unconditional embrace must be found from east to west, from north to south. Even if there are birth pains of a terror-free Turkey, considering the magnitude of the threat we face, everyone, every segment, and every color of politics must unite in the ideal of a great and powerful Turkey. It is not a possibility to be dismissed that the global immorality, which puts on its agenda first bombing Gaza and then sitting on it, might attempt to stage the same game in Turkey in the future. Now is definitely the time to be one, the time to be alive, the time to be Turkey and the Turkish nation all together. The Nationalist Movement Party has risked every difficulty for its country and nation. While doing so, it has also taken into account the sacrifice of life if necessary. Our party has paid the price for its existence and struggle in the heaviest way in every slice of these 56 years. Before getting stuck in the vicious barriers of those who sell and those who curse, those who get tired with snakes, and those who betray with opportunists, we have translated the motto 'My country and my nation, then my party and myself' from potential to action. Now, a brand new and greater task is before us. We are obliged to do whatever is necessary to weave the material and spiritual roof of the Turkish and Turkey Century.
