Clear message from MHP to DEM Party: 'This step also covers Syria and Iraq'

Developments in Syria have also increased tension in Turkish politics. The polemic between the ruling wing and the DEM Party continues with daily mutual statements.

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın spoke about the "Terror-Free Turkey" process. Stating that this policy is a "regional cleansing step," Yalçın said, "A terror-free Turkey means a terror-free Syria and a terror-free Iraq."

As reported by Habertürk, Yalçın also addressed the DEM Party, saying, "Efforts to call imperialist countries to the rescue under the guise of guarantor states and to save the separatist terrorist organization will not benefit the DEM Party."

"THE BUZZING TERRORIST MOSQUITOES..."

A terror-free Turkey should also be considered a step of cleansing and purification taken to drain the terror swamps in the region. A terror-free Turkey means a terror-free Syria and a terror-free Iraq. Because the destruction of the terrorist mosquitoes buzzing in our region and on our horizons depends on the draining of all the terror swamps around us. Essentially, this issue resembles a chicken-and-egg relationship. In other words, the cleansing of neighboring countries from terror also means freeing Turkey from both regional and local terror threats. At the root of the meticulous and uncompromising policy that Turkey has displayed recently, especially regarding Syria, is the concern of eliminating one of the external factors, perhaps the most important one, that could hinder a Terror-Free Turkey. The sensitivity that Ankara is currently showing regarding the territorial integrity of Syria and the integration of all segments of society into the new system by dispersing the terrorist elements affiliated with the PKK/PYD/YPG in the country is of great importance in terms of ensuring that the phenomenon of a Terror-Free Turkey does not fail.

In this context, the MHP will resolutely continue its struggle to take away not only the physical weapons of terrorism but also its psychological and psychosocial materials and means. Whatever is necessary will be done to put an end to the reckless exploitation of the sensitivities of our oppressed and innocent Kurdish brothers by terrorist organizations under the pretext of various rights and freedoms. The era of achieving political success through terror and reaching goals through terror has long since ended.

MESSAGES TO DEM PARTY

Ethnic separatism and micro-nationalism are not gaining traction. While we are at it, let us remind you: Efforts to call imperialist countries to the rescue under the guise of guarantor states and to save the separatist terrorist organization will not benefit the DEM Party. Provocative actions such as attacks on the flag, organized to consolidate terror hubs and provoke the public, will be neutralized with common sense and composure. Attacks on the glorious Turkish flag, which is the symbol of our national integrity, will go no further than strengthening our nation's determination and will to live together and sharpening our courage to defend our sovereign rights. All separatist propaganda tools against the survival of our state and the unity and integrity of our nation will definitely be eliminated."
