MHP Deputy Chairman Yalçın's 'Sinan Ateş' response to CHP: 'Form a queue in front of the courthouse...'

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın targeted the CHP in a written statement.

Yalçın argued that the CHP, which he claimed has completely lost its common sense, moderation, and balance after the local elections, has entered a process of imitating the dangerous political games of the İnönü era.

CALLED IT "SLANDER"

"It is observed that the coup-plotting, tutelary, and interventionist mentality, which was in a state of potential in the CHP, which has been emboldened and fueled by the temporary results of the local elections, has begun to be put into practice," Yalçın assessed, stating that "lies, unjust accusations, character assassination, and slander," which form the cornerstones of the CHP's political traditions, have turned into programmed campaigns.

MHP Deputy Chairman Yalçın argued that the local election results did not just spoil the CHP leadership, but also swept them off their feet and blinded them.

Yalçın emphasized that the MHP, whose entire political life has been spent in a struggle for democracy and which has given martyrs for this cause, has also "dealt with the uniform-loving and boot-licking CHP mentality" during the same period.

'SİNAN ATEŞ' CALL TO ÖZGÜR ÖZEL

Yalçın noted that the CHP leadership, stunned and shaken by the historical questions MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli is waiting for answers to, is trying to get out of the situation with polemics and deflect political attacks by distorting the facts.

Semih Yalçın, recalling the questions Bahçeli directed at CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, continued as follows:

"The fact that the CHP has been harping on about a heinous murder that has nothing to do with our party for days is part of an effort to distract from its collaboration with the PKK's political agency. We are speaking clearly to the CHP leadership from here. If you are true to your word, if you are serious, instead of slander and unjust accusations, pursue the legal path. Form a queue in front of the courthouses and apply to the judiciary.

Whatever documents or information you have regarding the murder that you insist on keeping on the public agenda like warmed-up leftovers, submit them to the court. Do not make empty noise. Do not play to the gallery. Most importantly of all, answer our Chairman's tough questions as soon as possible. If you have the nerve, explain clearly to the public what kind of business you are conducting with the DEM Party, which is the political wing of the PKK."

"NORMALIZATION BEFORE SOFTENING"

Touching upon the term "softening" in politics, Yalçın asked, "If there is talk of softening, if such a need is felt, normalization must first take place. Normalization is only possible through accountability first and then reconciliation. Will the CHP be able to account for itself with the PKK and FETÖ, and will it be able to reconcile with the Turkish Nation?"
