MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli spoke at his party's group meeting in the TBMM.

In his speech, Bahçeli targeted the AYM, the CHP, and the DEM Party.

Highlights from Bahçeli's statements are as follows:

"My dear fellow deputies, distinguished guests, we are together at the final group meeting of 2023. Before moving on to evaluations regarding the topics on the agenda, I greet you all with respect. I convey my heartfelt greetings and gratitude to our citizens and all our brothers and sisters who are following our meeting. May the budget work be auspicious for our state and our nation. The budget must be evaluated as a whole. It exercises its rights directly with the approval of the TBMM. The budget is essentially a matter of resource allocation, and this is based on a political preference. It has embraced Turkey's high goals. We voted 'yes' to the 2024 budget and stood behind it. I congratulate all of you for your attitude and stance during the General Assembly proceedings. I convey my congratulations and thanks to every deputy and every bureaucrat who avoided baseless and irrational claims, who was supportive and constructive, who made their interventions from the podium, who refrained from turning the negotiations into a show of betrayal, who did not give credit to those looking for opportunities to start fights, and who showed sensitivity and put in effort and labor during the stages of the first budget of the Century of Turkey, along with our dear friends.

"I BELIEVE OUR NATION WILL REACH PROSPERITY IN A SHORT TIME"

The War of Independence is the only war that was won by curbing inflation. Profiteers were not given any leeway. Our economy grew by an average of 8 percent from 1923 to 1939, and national income increased. The heroes never lost their hope. I believe that with the inspiration of the centennial, we will overcome economic problems and that our nation will reach the prosperity it deserves in a short time with price stability. Mustafa Kemal Pasha stayed at the agricultural school in Keçiören. The events that developed until his arrival in Ankara are like the links of a chain whose resistance is increasing. His command, his trust in the nation, and his foresight played an important role. They challenged every hardship for the sake of the homeland. They had nothing in their hands. They broke the siege of impossibility with the power of faith. To go from Erzurum to Sivas, they borrowed money from a retired major and set off.

"WE DO NOT WANT 'TERRORISTS' IN THE TBMM"

The hypocrites who raise a ruckus saying 'we are bankrupt, we are finished,' the pawns of the West who live in luxury, who look down on the nation, who do not value labor, the tavern leftists, those who turn like a wheel of fortune, the square revolutionaries, the handful of human dregs who despise the heroes who emerged from mud-brick houses—we see where we came from and, thank God, we know it. Well, what do you know, and whom do you serve? We will not let our national honor be trampled upon. Our decision is final, our struggle is fierce. Everyone should be careful; we are like a drawn bow. We are like a sharp knife waiting to be unsheathed. This noble homeland did not come from a lottery. We gave blood, we paid the price, but we did not surrender, we did not compromise, we did not bow down. The homeland, every stone of which is a ruby, belongs to those who know the secret of giving their lives. Our will is the will of the national struggle. Our excitement is the excitement of the seğmen (militia) from 104 years ago. I commemorate the late Akif, who struggled for the nation throughout his life, Atatürk, the leader of the national struggle, and our dear martyrs with mercy. The further back we look, the further we see. I am of the opinion that it is possible to solve today by pronouncing a historical event. The MHP's open call is this: whichever deputy approaches terrorists with tolerance and affection is guilty and will not escape without being held accountable. We do not want terrorists, enemies, or murderers in the TBMM. A heinous operation is underway to slow down Turkey's speed, reduce the excitement of the new century, and wound our national unity and brotherhood; the purpose of this operation is to 'DEM-ify' the CHP.

"TARGETED THE AYM: 'MR. ZÜHTÜ...'"

How will the black-robed collaborators account for the urgent examination of the Can Atalay file? Listen, President and members of the Constitutional Court. The lands of the homeland were entrusted to me on the shoulders of our martyrs. Mr. Zühtü, whose hands are your controls in? They are attacking our heroes serving in temporary bases established in tents and tin shacks in the middle of the snow and ice in northern Iraq. Our young saplings, whom their mothers could not bear to look at, are being martyred. Oh, members of the court, what more are you doing? If you call this justice, damn your justice. If you call this law, may such a law be gone. Unless the DEM is legally buried, there will be no peace in Turkey. An dishonorable deputy of the DEM also said that a dignified solution begins with the start of a dialogue with the baby killer. According to us, the solution is to collectively destroy terror and terrorists and ruthlessly eradicate their supporters. We will either say justice, or we will disappear in the bloody current of the separatist terrorist organization, which is the backyard of foreign-backed organizations.

"'DEM-IFIED' CHP"

Taking a strategic look at the fight against terrorism and cutting off its source, as well as going after the internal support lobby, is a historical duty for our national security. All political parties must review where they stand and how they look at national issues. No party in the Gazi Assembly can remain silent and unresponsive to the danger facing the Turkish Nation. At the same time, they will be considered to have condoned and approved the crimes and murders committed. There is no right to hide behind excuses like 'let's look, let's investigate.' Four parties, excluding the DEM and the CHP, signed a joint text and became the voice of the will of our nation and our state. It must be asked, what part of this text did the CHP not like, why did they get alarmed? The CHP has lost its national belonging by trailing after the DEM. The CHP administration has taken a stand against Turkey. I say shame on all of them. Özgür Özel has gone off the rails and descended into nonsense. The 'DEM-ified' CHP administration has turned into a source of shame. The current CHP administration is null and void in our eyes. If the person who was protested in his hometown of Manisa does not come to his senses, he will not even be able to walk on the street. The CHP has been occupied and has fallen into the hands of Turkey's enemies. It is vile for the CHP Chairman to attack our Minister of National Defense after what happened at the Tuzla Infantry School. If this person, who has been privatized by imperialism, had any sense, he wouldn't talk like this anyway. We will hold those who badmouth our heroes serving at every level of our TSK (Turkish Armed Forces) and police force, from our ministers to our commanders, accountable for their tongues, and we will make those who shake their fingers pay the price many times over. We will take the wits of all of them. As a nation, we are behind our Minister of National Defense, our TSK command staff, and our heroic soldiers and police to the end. The necessary action has been taken regarding the person who did not wear an Atatürk photo on his lapel on November 10 in Tuzla. The path Özel is taking is not the right path, and his politics are not politics.

LOCAL ELECTIONS

I am announcing here once again that we have decided to cooperate with the AK Party in the local administration elections to be held on March 31, and that we will be in a democratic race in 22 provinces. The People's Alliance will succeed and will root out collaborative politics from local governments. Effort is from us, success is from Allah. The journey is from us, the appreciation is from our noble nation.
