Kayseri's Pınarbaşı district has completed voting in the re-run elections, and the counting process has begun.
While the vote count is ongoing, MHP Deputy Chairman and Kayseri MP İsmail Özdemir stated that according to unofficial results, the CHP is leading the election by 215 votes and that they have identified 435 invalid votes, adding: "It is not possible to declare a will based on unofficial results in Pınarbaşı at this moment. Our fellow citizens in Pınarbaşı have expressed their democratic will. Wet-signed ballots have only just begun to be entered into the system. Additionally, initial findings regarding invalid votes indicate that there are over 300. We are continuing to monitor the elections at our MHP Pınarbaşı district headquarters with our MHP Kayseri provincial chairman, our MHP Pınarbaşı district chairman, and our organization. Our fellow citizens in Pınarbaşı should rest assured; we will continue to monitor the results while protecting the peace of our district. As the Nationalist Movement Party, according to our initial findings, the CHP appears to be leading by 215 votes based on unofficial results. However, according to unofficial results, 435 invalid votes have also been identified by our party observers. Furthermore, it is known to all political parties monitoring the elections that there is a system failure at the district election board. As the MHP, we are monitoring the process with determination, patience, and calm in order to protect the democratic will of our fellow citizens in Pınarbaşı."
