SUPPORT FROM MHP AND ÜLKÜ OCAKLARI
Officials from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Ülkü Ocakları announced that they will support the current president, Ali Koç, in the election. MHP Chief Advisor to the Chairman Eyyup Yıldız also stated, "Our support in the Fenerbahçe Congress is unconditionally and unreservedly for Ali Koç."
Ülkü Ocakları Ankara Provincial President Ömer Şanlı also announced in a post that they support Ali Koç in the election.
In his statement, Şanlı said, "As a member of the Nationalist-Idealist Movement, which I am honored to belong to, and as a Congress Member of Fenerbahçe Sports Club; I, along with my fellow cause-mates, declare to the entire public that our support for Mr. President Ali Koç in the upcoming Fenerbahçe Extraordinary Congress is full and unconditional."
Ömer Şanlı stated the following: "Fenerbahçe is not only a sports club but also the common pride of the Turkish nation, with its deep-rooted history, noble identity kneaded with the values of our Republic, and the belief of its millions of fans. WHEN IS THE FENERBAHÇE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION?
According to the official statement made by Fenerbahçe Club, the extraordinary general assembly will be held on September 13-14, 2025, at 10:30 AM. The election will take place on the Kenan Evren High School plot next to the Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex Chobani Stadium. According to the club's bylaws, if a sufficient majority is not reached in the first meeting, the second meeting will be held on September 20-21, 2025, at the same place and time. This process will be recorded as one of the important turning points in Fenerbahçe's history.
In addition to the current president Ali Koç, Sadettin Saran and Hakan Bilal Kutlualp had previously announced their candidacy for the yellow-navy club. The election at Fenerbahçe will take shape between these 3 candidates.
