MHP's Semih Yalçın on Devlet Bahçeli: 'The gray wolf who led Turkey out of Ergenekon...'
MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın evaluated Devlet Bahçeli's call regarding the new normalization process, describing him as "like the gray wolf who led Turkey out of Ergenekon." Yalçın stated that this process is not a political project, but a national move aimed at achieving a "Turkey without terrorism."

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın stated regarding the new resolution process, "Our leader Devlet Bahçeli's call is not a political project. It is not a long-term power calculation or an election investment. It is an effort to establish a new political and diplomatic tradition by leaning on a thousand-year-old law of brotherhood. The starting point of this tradition is a Turkey without terrorism." Yalçın added, "The paradigm shift initiated by our leader Devlet Bahçeli has become the signal flare for a necessary political and diplomatic transformation."
In a written statement, MHP's Semih Yalçın noted that there is a need for a new language, a new attitude, and a new paradigm in Turkey's political life, stating, "The power struggles of global actors, who have acted recklessly and without restraint like prisoners who have broken their chains after the end of the Cold War, have dragged the world into a rare state of chaos. In the current intricate global atmosphere, not only has the dawn of a new world order not broken, but unfortunately, the darkness of a new global chaos and a new global confusion has begun to prevail. The attitude of Trump and his team, who have come to power in the US, ignoring diplomatic customs, international legal norms, and the traditions of interstate relations, has further fueled this chaos."
''LIKE THE GRAY WOLF WHO LED TURKEY OUT OF ERGENEKON''
Stating that the new American administration has turned global balances upside down in less than two months, Yalçın continued:
"Under these conditions, the need for Turkey to determine a new roadmap for itself has emerged; however, it has also been understood that doing politics with cliché political stances and rhetoric, and worn-out mottos and slogans, will no longer work. For the sake of breathing fresh air in politics, it has become necessary for the political and diplomatic literature to be shaped in the face of the dynamics of the new era. Thankfully, our Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, as the wise leaders of the past did during the troubled periods of our nation, has stepped forward as a guide in this difficult and uncertain period and illuminated our path. Mr. Devlet Bahçeli has begun to guide our nation like the gray wolf who led Turkey out of Ergenekon. Mr. Devlet Bahçeli has taken action so that Turkey can both organize its internal balances and place them on a solid foundation, and fully ensure its own security in line with regional and global dynamics. First and foremost, he has invited the fundamental elements that make up the social structure in Turkey to solidarity for the revival of a thousand-year-old brotherhood."
Noting that the plans of those who set the stage both at home and abroad have been disrupted by Bahçeli's call, Semih Yalçın said:
"In the meantime, it has become crystal clear who benefits and profits from the existence of the separatist terrorist organization, and which actors stand behind it. All the kings, proxies, and subcontractors of imperialism, left exposed, have fallen into a panic. The ugly face of the US and Israel has been revealed on a regional and global scale. Especially Israel, which loves the YPG/PKK, has been left high and dry. Domestically, certain circles that have no words to say, no cards in their deck, and no embers in their hearth have only begun to make empty noise. They have failed to see that nothing will ever be the same again in Turkey, in the region, or in the world. The paradigm shift initiated by our leader Devlet Bahçeli has become the signal flare for a necessary political and diplomatic transformation. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who has dedicated his existence and life to the happiness and well-being of the Turkish nation, to our unity and integrity, and to the survival of our state, continues to work tirelessly for this ideal. Subsequently, he made a courageous call to the PKK, the terrorist organization that has been a shackle on Turkey for 40 years, and its political agency, asking for weapons to be laid down and for the organization to dissolve itself. The goal is to strengthen internal unity and integrity against potential external threats. It is the establishment of a climate of peace where there is no terrorism, and where brotherhood and tranquility prevail. It is to focus better on the goal of the Century of Turkey. It is to provide energy to the efforts to make Turkey a global actor, which has turned into a deterrent and influential power in its region thanks to its diplomacy, democracy, army, defense industry, and social dynamism."
''THE STARTING POINT IS A TURKEY WITHOUT TERRORISM''
Noting that the accurate steps taken by Devlet Bahçeli by foreseeing the approaching global danger are also supported by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Yalçın expressed the following:
"The determined stance of the People's Alliance, which represents the national will, has shown that Turkey is not without a captain. Our Chairman's call has found a response, and the terrorist organization has been invited to liquidate all its branches and end its armed struggle with a new call from Imralı. Our leader Devlet Bahçeli's call is not a political project. It is not a long-term power calculation or an election investment. It is an effort to establish a new political and diplomatic tradition by leaning on a thousand-year-old law of brotherhood. The starting point of this tradition is a Turkey without terrorism. Because it is well known that unless you destroy its nest, the root of the snake cannot be cut. As long as an organization that produces terrorists is not eliminated with its entire body and all its branches, terrorism will not end. Just as the will that founded the Republic was based on a broad popular base and national consensus, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's initiatives are also based on the nation and the national will. Mr. Devlet Bahçeli has not only accurately analyzed the global developments he has observed carefully, but has also listened to the voices of institutions and the masses in the country. He has taken into account the sentiments and expectations of the nation and has observed the needs and interests of the state with the precision of a jeweler. That is why our leader's recent initiatives have sparked interest, hope, and resonance across the country."
