In the footage that emerged, it was seen that Mustafa Bozbey was escorted from his home by police and led toward a vehicle while being held by the arm. Journalists present in the area during the detention process attempted to ask Bozbey questions. The moments when Bozbey wanted to respond to the questions posed by members of the press were captured on camera.

In the footage, it was observed that Mustafa Bozbey attempted to speak but was not permitted to make a statement at that time.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention warrants for 59 people, including Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey and former Nilüfer Mayor Turgay Erdem, as part of an investigation it has launched.

Simultaneous operations were carried out in 5 provinces centered in Bursa this morning. 55 people were taken into custody during the operation.

Searches were conducted at numerous homes, workplaces, and vehicles belonging to the suspects. Seizure procedures were also carried out at some addresses.

The Prosecutor's Office reported that efforts to apprehend 4 individuals are ongoing. It was stated that the investigation is based on the period of the Nilüfer Municipality.
