Motorcyclist struck by former MP dies
In the Bandırma district of Balıkesir, the driver of a motorcycle struck by a car driven by former Member of Parliament İlyas Yılmazyıldız has died in the hospital.

According to the information obtained, the accident occurred in front of the Şehitlik Mosque in the İhsaniye neighborhood.
The Fiat-brand car with license plate 06 CHZ 299, driven by former True Path Party (DYP) MP İlyas Yılmazyıldız (65), struck the motorcycle operated by Adnan Kozan (73).
Kozan, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to the Bandırma Training and Research Hospital by medical teams that arrived at the scene.
The elderly man could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital.
