Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had issued a very harsh response to journalist Fatih Altaylı, who had used the phrase 'serving the AKP' regarding him on his social media account.

Following Kılıçdaroğlu's post, Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce supported Kılıçdaroğlu in a post he made on X.

'DON'T DO THIS, GENTLEMEN!'

Stating, "Even at times when I was most angry, I did not insult him. And he did not insult me," İnce said the following:

"Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is not a man of the palace or foreign powers.

I condemn the insults currently being directed at a person who served as CHP Chairman for 13 years, was subjected to all sorts of threats and insults, and fought as hard as he could. I fought with Mr. Kemal within the party, and I expressed that he made many strategic mistakes politically. I told him that he was surrounded by the wrong people, that he was being misled, and that many wrongs were committed against me as well. Even at times when I was most angry, I did not insult him. And he did not insult me. It is, to put it mildly, shameful that those who carried his bag for years and left no room for anyone else in sycophancy are now joining the chorus of 'beat the underdog.' Don't do this, gentlemen!"

'LET US KEEP THE INTEGRITY'

In another post, İnce also responded to Kılıçdaroğlu regarding the allegation of being the "CHP member who went to the Palace" directed at him.

İnce stated the following:

"Even though he did not defend me while the slander of being the 'CHP member who went to the Palace' and all other slanders were being thrown at me, my heart cannot accept the words 'Man of the Palace' being directed at Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. I know the truth, and I speak the truth. Let us keep the integrity."
