Muharrem İnce visits Ekrem İmamoğlu

CHP member Muharrem İnce visited Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been imprisoned for approximately 1.5 years, at Silivri Prison.

Sharing details about the visit on his social media account, İnce conveyed İmamoğlu's message: "He sends his regards to you all."

İnce's post is as follows:

"Ekrem İmamoğlu has been in the dungeon for 734,400 minutes, and 'In the dungeon, a minute is no different from a month'

He has been an unconvicted prisoner for 510 days!

'Are you aware, stone wall?'

I visited him today.

He sends his regards to you all."

The IMM trial will continue tomorrow where it left off. The court is expected to begin hearing the defenses of the defendants who are being tried without arrest.
