Murat Ongun: All TRT channels refuse to air IMM advertisements even for payment

Murat Ongun, advisor to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, has criticized TRT. Ongun stated, "All of TRT's channels do not air IMM advertisements, even when paid for."

Murat Ongun, in a statement made via his social media account, criticized the uninterrupted broadcast of the launch event for AKP's Istanbul candidate Murat Kurum on the state channel TRT, noting that none of İmamoğlu's events have been broadcast live on TRT.

"ISTANBUL RESIDENTS WILL ONCE AGAIN SAY STOP TO THIS INJUSTICE"

Stating that "TRT does not even air IMM's advertisements for money," Ongun's post is as follows:

“IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has not had a single moment like this on TRT in 5 years. There is more. All of TRT's channels do not air IMM advertisements, even when paid for. Istanbul residents will once again say STOP to this injustice.”
