İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding the agenda at the TBMM Group meeting. Dervişoğlu began his speech by mentioning CHP Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek.

Highlights from Dervişoğlu's statement are as follows:

"Turkey needs a new government. But some need personality, honor, dignity, and integrity. What happened to you? Have your ideas changed, or have the places you take orders from changed? You are obligated to give the answer to this question to the Turkish Nation.

While the government applies the law of the enemy to every objection against itself, it leans on the principle of 'what is useful to me?' in crimes against its citizens and the Turkish state. This is why they can embrace Apo. This is why they brought the 'domuzbağcı' (pig-tie) perpetrators into Parliament. This is why they can treat enemies of the Republic like heroes."

"WE ARE EXPERIENCING A CRISIS OF DISTRUST"

Stating that the greatest damage of the AKP's 23-year rule is 'distrust', Dervişoğlu said, "We no longer trust the laws, courts, or oversight mechanisms in Turkey. That is why we are experiencing a serious crisis of distrust," he said.

"TURKEY NEEDS A NEW GOVERNMENT"

Speaking about the new Constitution debates, Dervişoğlu said, "The new Constitution, of which they have changed 80 percent of the content, is not enough. On one side, Mr. Bahçeli is needed, and on the other, the monster of İmralı. For this, the Palace's alliance of evil says 'we need a new identity.' We shout that the Turkish nation does not need a new identity, but a new government. Turkey needs a new government. But some also need personality, character, honor, dignity, and integrity. What happened to you? Did you milk a billy goat, find salt in honey, or light a fire in water? Have your ideas changed, or have the places you take orders from changed?" he stated.
