Müsavat Dervişoğlu: 'We risked losing municipalities to win Turkey'

İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman and İzmir MP Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding his party's decision on 'cooperation' with the CHP in the local elections during a live broadcast on HaberTürk.

"YOU LOST TURKEY BECAUSE OF MISTAKES"

Dervişoğlu used the following expressions:

"Our voter base and management staff were extremely uncomfortable. We need to handle everything in the right way. The Republican People's Party did not just request cooperation from us. Those speaking on behalf of the Republican People's Party—I exclude Mr. Özel—expressed that they expected support from us, not cooperation. You lost Turkey because of mistakes. If we cannot manage to risk the loss of a few municipalities today in order to win Turkey in the coming period, we will also lose the chance and opportunity to win Turkey in the future. Furthermore, they never viewed the İYİ Party as a party that wins elections."
