CHP Erzincan MP Mustafa Sarıgül made assessments to 12punto.com.tr regarding the Congress and the local elections at his party's 38th Ordinary Congress.
"IT WILL CONTINUE ITS SUCCESS WITH STRONG CADRES"
Sarıgül's assessment is as follows:
"Our congress is a festival of democracy. No other political party's congress in Turkey is this pleasant and joyful. Thousands of people from every culture and every corner of Turkey are here, and everyone in Turkey is holding their breath, waiting for this congress. Our Chairman also made statements on many political and social issues, being extremely unifying and addressing Turkey's topics. Today, democracy will win here, the Republic will win, and the principles of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk will win. Secularism will win, national unity will win. Our workers, our civil servants, those who think of nature and art, those who think of sweat and labor will win here. With local administrations, the CHP will emerge from here with very strong cadres and continue its success in local government."
"MAY HIS PATH BE CLEAR"
Sarıgül also commented on his son Emir Sarıgül, whose name has been mentioned for the Eyüp mayoral candidacy, arriving at the Congress hall together with CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu:
"If a lawyer's son is practicing law, if a doctor's son is practicing medicine, if a politician's son is doing politics and is successful, may his path be clear."
