AKP Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman made notable remarks regarding the alliance system. Participating in a live broadcast by TV100 from the Parliament garden, Yayman stated that new parties could be included in the People's Alliance.

Stating that he would not go into details regarding the opposition bloc, Yayman said, "There is a People's Alliance; there was already an alliance on the other side, but they have disbanded. I will not go into those topics."

Expressing that the People's Alliance could expand, Yayman said, "There may be new participants in the People's Alliance; new parties may be within this alliance. The name of this alliance could also be the 'Great Turkey Alliance' or the 'Turkey Alliance'."

In his statement, referring to the 467 votes in Parliament, Yayman said, "But let me say it again. The figure of 467 is proof that a new course will be set in Turkish political life."

The number in question refers to the affirmative votes cast in the framework law vote accepted in Parliament on August 10, 2026. In the vote, 467 "yes" votes, 87 "no" votes, and 7 "abstentions" were recorded, while 31 deputies did not participate in the vote.
