At the CHP's Konak District Congress in İzmir, Serkan Kalmaz, running on the blue list, won the election with 209 votes in a race where the incumbent chair, Ozan Ali İlgazi, did not seek re-election. His opponent, Orçun Altanhan, received 154 votes on the white list.

The congress was held at the Selahattin Akçiçek Cultural Center, with former MP Mustafa Moroğlu serving as the chair of the congress committee.
