As part of the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Republican People's Party (CHP) 38th Ordinary Congress, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik was summoned to testify.
According to the report by Cumhuriyet, the testimony process, which took place at the Ankara Sıhhiye Courthouse, began with the participation of Özgür Çelik, who was summoned in the capacity of a suspect. CHP Ankara Provincial Chair Ümit Erkol was also present at the courthouse to show support for Çelik.
It was learned that the prosecutor will personally take the statements. It was reported that the prosecutor conducting the investigation will personally take the statements of other provincial and district chairs as well as delegates involved in the case.
