Our client was referred to İzmir City Hospital on July 18 at the request of the Council of Forensic Medicine, where advanced examinations and check-ups were conducted. Finally, a bone marrow biopsy was taken on July 25, and the results are being awaited.

The condition of our client, who has received cancer treatment twice in the past, is being monitored with medical sensitivity. We kindly request that only written statements made by us regarding the process be taken into account; and that a responsible approach, free from speculation, be maintained."

"He has pain, supplements started for weight loss"

CHP member Çağla Biçer reported that Çalık has pain and that supplements have been started due to weight loss. Biçer's statement is as follows:

"As is known, our Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık underwent a second biopsy procedure last Friday. As the family has repeatedly stated, this is a highly painful and traumatic procedure. Our Mayor has been complaining of intense pain for three days following this procedure. Upon the continuation of the pain, an ultrasonic evaluation was performed again today.

Furthermore, in line with the significant weight loss observed by the public, enteral (formula) supplementation has been started to support his nutritional status. All developments regarding our Mayor's health condition will be shared with the public regularly in line with medical evaluations."
