New mayor in Denizli, which passed from AKP to CHP, displays vehicles! 'A picture of waste...'
In the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, which passed from the AKP to the CHP, the new mayor, Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, has displayed 45 vehicles, some of which are luxury models. In a post on his social media account, Çavuşoğlu called it "a picture of waste" and stated, "We are returning all the excess vehicles. The Republic of Turkey's Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will now be a municipality where there is no ostentation and no unnecessary spending."

In the March 31 Local Elections, the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality passed from the AKP to the CHP.
The new mayor, CHP's Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, began implementing austerity measures as soon as he took office.
DISPLAYED THE VEHICLES IN THE SQUARE
Çavuşoğlu displayed 45 vehicles, some of which are luxury models, in the city square. Announcing that the vehicles in question were rented by the municipality as excess to requirements, Çavuşoğlu stated that they would return all the excess vehicles.

Making a statement on his social media account regarding the matter, Çavuşoğlu said "A picture of waste" and included the following remarks in his post;
"We have displayed 45 rental vehicles that were excess to the needs of the Republic of Turkey's Denizli Metropolitan Municipality in the square. We are returning all the excess vehicles. The Republic of Turkey's Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will now be a municipality where there is no ostentation and no unnecessary spending."
