New step in the process commission: Fifth meeting to be held tomorrow
The drafting process for the joint report prepared by the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission is progressing rapidly; the commission's drafting team is meeting tomorrow under the chairmanship of Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.

The joint report of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission, composed of representatives from parties with groups in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), has reached the completion stage. The fifth drafting meeting, which is the next step in the process, will be held tomorrow under the leadership of Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.
In the preparation process, AKP Group Deputy Chairman Abdulhamit Gül, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir, DEM Party Istanbul MP Cengiz Çiçek, MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız, and Yeniyol Group Chairman Bülent Kaya are serving on the drafting team. In the team's previous meeting, a common consensus was reached on the draft text that emerged.
The last meeting of the drafting commission took place on January 19 and lasted 3 hours and 20 minutes. Following the discussions, Feti Yıldız described the stage reached with the statement, "We will work on it once more and then finish it."
After the drafting of the joint report is completed, the text will first be presented to the commission members for their views. Subsequently, it is planned to submit the joint report to the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
With tomorrow's meeting, it is expected that the final form of the joint text will be determined and the process will be moved to a new stage.
