Nilüfer Kışlalı, wife of Ahmet Taner Kışlalı, joins YENİ Party: Özgür Özel pins her badge

Nilüfer Kışlalı, the wife of Ahmet Taner Kışlalı, announced that she visited Özgür Özel at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) and filled out her party membership form.

Nilüfer Kışlalı, the wife of the late former Minister of Culture, political scientist, and author Prof. Dr. Ahmet Taner Kışlalı, has joined the YENİ Party.

Kışlalı visited YENİ Party Chairman Özgür Özel in his office at the TBMM yesterday. During the meeting, Kışlalı completed her membership procedures, and Özel pinned the party badge on her.

Sharing the news on her social media account, Nilüfer Kışlalı stated that the purpose of her visit was to become a member of the party and to convey her support to Özel.

"Today, I visited YENİ Party Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel at the Parliament. The reason for my visit was to become a member of the YENİ Party and to express my support for him. After a very pleasant conversation, I filled out my membership form, and I left with my party badge on my lapel, a smile on my face, and hope for the future in my heart. I would also like to thank dear Aylin Nazlıaka for mediating this meeting."

Ahmet Taner Kışlalı lost his life on October 21, 1999, in Ankara as a result of a bomb explosion placed in his car.
