Nostalgic birthday greeting from Özgür Çelik to Ekrem İmamoğlu: 'We are in the middle of a long struggle'

CHP İstanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik celebrated the birthday of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently imprisoned at Silivri Prison, in a special way.

In a post shared on social media, Çelik used a video from 2019 to express his loyalty and support for İmamoğlu.

In his message, Çelik stated, "We are in the middle of a long struggle with those who shivered on the same streets," drawing attention to the struggle being led under İmamoğlu's leadership.

Çelik's message highlighted the successes achieved since the victory in Istanbul and the role İmamoğlu has played throughout this process.

With the words, "My President Ekrem, you are the captain of this great wave rising from the depths. Do not worry, the crew is at their post," Çelik reiterated his trust and support for İmamoğlu once again.

Çelik celebrated İmamoğlu's birthday with the words, "Happy birthday, Mr. President."
