Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP chairmanship with the May 21 decision of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice, has resumed the AKP-CHP holiday meetings that were suspended in the past following operations targeting CHP-run municipalities.
In this context, the CHP delegation visited the AKP Headquarters and was welcomed there by AKP Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman.
PRAISE FOR TURKEY'S ROLE IN AFRICA
During the visit, the remarks of CHP Kütahya Deputy Ali Fazıl Kasap regarding the millions of dollars in grants provided by Turkey to African countries, particularly Somalia, drew attention.
Based on his impressions from Somalia, where he once worked as a doctor, Kasap stated that Turkey has gained great respect in these countries. Emphasizing that activities regarding these relations should be continued, Deputy Kasap said, "Turkey is not limited to Turkey alone."
AKP's Hüseyin Yayman responded to Kasap's positive assessments by saying "Bravo." Furthermore, emphasizing that the resumed holiday dialogue between the two parties gives morale to society, Yayman stated, "This closeness we have internally gives morale to our nation. Therefore, when viewed from the outside, from neighboring geographies, from Baghdad, Damascus, Tehran, and Africa, it is met with joy."
