Additionally, a list claiming that the AKP's candidates for Istanbul's districts have been finalized has once again become a trending topic on X.

The AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate will be announced today by AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Before the announcement, the name Murat Kurum leaked to the press along with his speech to his campaign team.
With Kurum's candidacy, it was also claimed that the district mayoral candidates had been determined.
