According to a report by T24, the dismissal process has sparked rumors of a 'Cabinet reshuffle.'
The General Directorate of Security has dismissed a total of 69 police officers working in the private offices and security details of Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya's four deputies.
While no new appointments have been made to replace the recalled officers, the police personnel serving in the offices of Deputy Ministers Bülent Turan, Münir Karaloğlu, Mehmet Aktaş, and Ramazan Sağlam, who work alongside Minister Ali Yerlikaya, have also been dismissed.
It was noted that only two police officers were left for each of the four deputy ministers, one serving as a driver and the other as a bodyguard. Following the operation, a sense of activity was observed within the Ministry. The fact that the operation took place over the weekend raised the question, 'Is a cabinet reshuffle coming?'
