Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak claimed that Turkey has experienced a great revolution in the field of sports under Erdoğan's leadership. Bak said, "There is a Turkey that has realized a sports revolution with its stadiums, arenas, and swimming pools. These successes are thanks to your leadership."

Continuing his speech, Minister Bak stated, "Our basketball team became the runner-up in the European Championship, and our volleyball team became the world runner-up. These successes are thanks to you."

Emphasizing his support for Erdoğan, Minister Bak said, "The leader who makes the voice of Gaza heard to the world, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are proud of you. We are behind you like the Kaçkar Mountains. I say, no stopping, keep going. Do not worry, my brave one, time is on our side. Even if the world is against you, Rize is on your side, Turkey is on your side."
