Owner of the jet linked to İmamoğlu turns out to be an AKP businessman: Website shut down

A new development has occurred regarding the private jet that was attempted to be linked to Ekrem İmamoğlu and the company that owns it. 

It was revealed that the aircraft belongs to businessman Veysel Demirci, who is close to the AKP. Following this development, the website of Ziver Air, which is operated by Ziver Holding, has been taken offline.

OWNER OF THE AIRCRAFT AND THE COMPANY REVEALED

In recent days, media outlets had published claims that the private jet, which has been in the news due to drug and prostitution investigations, was used by Ekrem İmamoğlu. 

According to the reports, it was alleged that illegal parties were held inside the jet, and attempts were made to link this issue to the IMM case. However, as a result of investigations, it was confirmed that the Bombardier CRJ-850 type aircraft with the tail number TC-VED belongs to Ziver Air.

Information also surfaced that the owner of the aircraft, Ziver Holding businessman Veysel Demirci, was an AKP parliamentary candidate nominee for Elazığ in 2015 and 2022, and that he has received high-value tenders from state institutions. 

Demirci stated that the plane has no connection to İmamoğlu, saying, "I am a staunch supporter of the President (Reis); I did not rent it to the CHP, and they wouldn't rent it anyway."

Responding to the allegations of drug use on the plane, which were put forward by pro-government media, Demirci said, "Whatever checks you go through when boarding a plane, you go through the same checks when boarding a private jet. Could such a thing be possible? I cannot even bring my own weapon onto my own plane."

ZIVER AIR'S WEBSITE SHUT DOWN

A notable development occurred after the owner of the jet and his connections appeared in the press. Access to Ziver Air's corporate website has been blocked. 

Users attempting to access the company's website, which provides rental services for the aircraft in question, were unable to reach the site.
