Özel calls for 'early election': We will bring that ballot box to you

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel arrived in Erzincan for a series of meetings.

Calling for an early election there, Özel said, "I promise you. All our preparations are complete. We will bring that ballot box to you. The era of ministers' children will end, and the era of the nation's children will begin."

'HE IS MANAGING A MODEL'

Responding to Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, who said, "We will continue to build works that the CHP cannot even imagine," Özel stated the following:

"Murat Kurum has come out and is mocking us, saying 'the CHP cannot even build a model of the house we built.' What is that Murat Kurum doing at home now? He is playing with a model of Istanbul. He was supposed to manage Istanbul, but he is managing its model."

'OUR HEARTS WILL BE WITH HIM'

In his speech, Özel also expressed support for Halk TV Editor-in-Chief Suat Toktaş, who has been detained in Silivri for 24 days, and continued:

"Halk TV's editor-in-chief, Suat Toktaş, who has contributed to me and our party in the past, is being held inside just for reporting the news to you. We greet Halk TV and Suat Toktaş with respect from Erzincan. And we are all waiting for him to return to his job as soon as possible. His hearing will be on March 4. We will all be there together. Our hearts will be with him. We love Halk TV and we stand up for the voice of the people."
