Özel orders delegation following attack in Turgutlu

New Party Chairman Özgür Özel has appointed a party delegation to monitor developments on the ground following an armed attack that occurred near the İnci Üzmez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in the Turgutlu district of Manisa.

According to a statement from the party, following the incident in which 8 people were affected, Özel held phone conversations with Manisa Governor Vahdettin Özkan and Turgutlu Mayor Çetin Akın. It was stated that during these calls, Özel received information regarding the incident and the latest situation in the district.

Following the discussions, it was decided that a delegation led by İzmir Deputy Murat Bakan would travel to Turgutlu. The delegation is expected to hold meetings in the district where the armed attack took place and monitor developments on-site.
