According to the statement made by the party, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel called Can Atalay's father Mustafa Atalay, Tayfun Kahraman's wife Meriç Demir Kahraman, Osman Kavala's wife Ayşe Buğra, and Çiğdem Mater's husband Murat Utku, as well as Hakan Altınay and Mücella Yapıcı, who were acquitted after being tried while in custody in the Gezi case, to celebrate the Ramadan Feast.
Özel stated that they would continue to voice the sentences handed down in the Gezi trial on every platform and said that all prisoners should regain their freedom.
