According to the results of recent polls, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş has managed to lead President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan by 11 points.

In a joint analysis of research from ALF, Gündemar, Özdemir, and the Institute for Social Studies, the average of the four polls placed Mansur Yavaş in first place with 55.1 percent. President Erdoğan remained in second place with 44.9 percent.

Yavaş's name had come to the forefront as a presidential candidate following the imprisonment of Ekrem İmamoğlu.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, in an interview on September 25, pointed out that Mansur Yavaş had surpassed Erdoğan in the polls, identifying Yavaş as the strongest presidential candidate. Özel stated, "If Ekrem İmamoğlu is unable to be a candidate, Mansur Yavaş is the strongest candidate."
