According to a report by BirGün, the CHP Headquarters has sent a circular to provincial and district organizations to accelerate membership registration processes. Membership registration procedures are being carried out uninterruptedly, including on weekends, with duty officers.
INCREASED 15-FOLD
CHP officials stated that there has been a significant increase in online membership applications. While approximately 2,500 applications are made daily, it was reported that applications have increased 15-fold in some provinces and districts.
The calendar for the primary election is expected to be announced shortly. The CHP aims to complete the process and determine its candidate by March.
