Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel held phone calls with prominent figures on the occasion of the October 29 Republic Day.
Özel called the 10th President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, as well as former party chairmen Hikmet Çetin and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, and former SHP Chairman Murat Karayalçın to celebrate the holiday.
In a statement released by the party, it was noted that during these calls, Özel celebrated Republic Day and conveyed his wishes for health and well-being.
