Özgür Özel: I support Erkan Baş's call

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel expressed his support by quoting Erkan Baş's call on social media.

The Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) has launched a sit-in protest in front of the Çağlayan Courthouse until the 13th High Criminal Court reaches a decision in the Can Atalay case.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel also shared a message of support on his social media account by quoting the post in which TİP Chairman Erkan Baş called for the protest.

"I SUPPORT ERKAN BAŞ'S CALL"

Özel's post is as follows:

"I support the call of Workers' Party of Turkey Chairman Erkan Baş, who is exposing the unconstitutional obstruction of the release of Hatay MP Can Atalay in front of the Çağlayan Courthouse." 

The 13th High Criminal Court, which did not carry out the release despite the Constitutional Court's second ruling of rights violation regarding TİP MP Can Atalay, had announced that it would send the file to the Court of Cassation.
