Özgür Özel reacts to the 9th wave of operations: A reference to 'AK Toros'!

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel reacted sharply to the 9th wave of operations launched against Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) executives, following the detention of Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney in the morning hours. Özel emphasized that the operations carried out by the AKP are merely a political game and that they stand with the people.

DO NOT TRUST THE AK TOROS GANG, TRUST THE PEOPLE!

Özel argued that the forces behind the operation are plans executed through prosecutors and gangs. "Let them trust their prosecutors and their gangs. I trust the people. The people are with us," said Özel, stating that this operation is an attempt against the will of the public.

"THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO WRITE AN INDICTMENT FOR 149 DAYS DUE TO SLANDER"

Özel also expressed the government's desperation. Stating that since March 19, prosecutors and gangs have been trying to move forward with slander, Özel said, "They have been unable to write an indictment for 149 days. In this desperation, they are threatening the detainees with their spouses and children, forcing them to become informants," adding that the operations were carried out for revenge rather than justice.

Özel defined the operation in question as a "revenge operation carried out to cover up the destruction experienced by the judicial gang and the AK Party." He added, "Those who try to undermine this hope by standing against those who call for peace, unity, and brotherhood will lose."

"WE WILL MAINTAIN A STRONG STANCE"

Stating that they stand with İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney, Özel said, "We stand with our Mayor İnan Güney and all our friends until the end." Furthermore, addressing the gangs within the state, he emphasized that their struggle will continue until the end, saying, "Even if you carry out not 9 waves, but 99 waves, you will not succeed!"
