Özgür Özel responds to Kılıçdaroğlu's 'FETÖ agents' remarks

Addressing citizens for the first time since his appointment to the CHP chairmanship, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu gave messages regarding the party's future in his speech. Evaluating the new convention process, Kılıçdaroğlu did not provide a date for when the convention would be held.
Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "We will hold a pristine convention. Our party members will build the safe harbor of our party."
"I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO NOTICE THE FETÖ AGENTS"
In his speech, Kılıçdaroğlu also made evaluations regarding the past period and used striking expressions.
Kılıçdaroğlu included the following words in his statement:
"I apologize to you for not being able to notice in time the FETÖ agents who had sold their souls and infiltrated us sneakily from behind. I apologize to you for harboring in my bosom those fools who, while we spoke of the homeland and the nation, sought help from external sources behind closed doors and expected their permission and assistance."

On the other hand, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel decided to walk to Anıtkabir following the holiday celebration rally. When asked by members of the press during the walk about the "FETÖ agents" remarks used by Kılıçdaroğlu in his speech, Özel responded.
"KEMAL BEY IS NOW ADOPTING THOSE SLANDERS"
Responding to the question, Özgür Özel argued that Kılıçdaroğlu's words were similar to the accusations previously leveled against him.
Özel used the following expressions:
"Kemal Bey is using these words from a prepared text. These were the slanders that TGRT previously leveled against Kemal Bey. They used to accuse Kemal Bey of working with 'FETÖ remnants' by naming some of his advisors. Now the text has not changed, but Kemal Bey has turned around and is now adopting the slanders of TGRT and A Haber himself."
"I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY"
Continuing his statements, Özel also touched upon the accusations directed at some party executives and made the following assessment:
"TGRT has been calling our friends 'thieves' with unspeakable insults and slanders for a year. What has happened? Look at the stones of Ankara, look at the tears in my eyes! TGRT has become the judge, look at the state of this party! Wake up, wake up Gazi Kemal, look at the tears in my eyes! I cannot find anything else to say."
