Özgür Özel sends a message to former alliance partners

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated, "In some of the parties we formed alliances with, the administrations have changed, the leaders have changed. In others, the leaders remain, but their mindsets have changed. But one fact remains: the voters who brought us here have not changed."

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel attended the Local Government Workshop held at his party's headquarters.

Speaking at the event, Özel said that CHP-run municipalities stand out with the services they provide to citizens and that they have achieved significant success in municipal governance.

Stating that they must explain the right work they have done to the citizens, Özel said, "We will organize hope. We will explain how the hope we organized in the past turned into success."

Expressing that the CHP will win the March 31 local elections with the "Turkey alliance," Özel continued as follows:

"There is talk of a Turkey alliance or the alliances of cities themselves. One fact remains: those who won these cities for us and entrusted them to us have not changed. In some of the parties we formed alliances with, the administrations have changed, the leaders have changed. In others, the leaders remain, but their mindsets have changed. But one fact remains: the voters who brought us here have not changed. On May 14 and May 28, we united around the same candidates.

The Turkey alliance or the alliance of cities is not composed of political parties; it is composed of honest, good, and brave people who love their city. It is composed of people who love their city and want to protect its values. It is composed of those who appreciate success. It is composed of those who reward merit."

"WE MUST MAKE VOTERS SAY 'I'M GLAD I VOTED'"

Stating that "young voters casting their ballots for the first time are choosing the CHP," Özel said, "So what needs to be done? We must make the voters who voted for us last time say, 'I'm glad I voted. Let these continue.'"

Asking party members to work tirelessly and without discouragement to explain their services, Özgür Özel stated that the CHP will show what it can do in Turkey if it is granted authority for the next 5 years.
