CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has accelerated his contacts with political parties in the new week. Having met with Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan at the CHP Headquarters today, Özel is preparing to continue his meetings with party leaders.
Tomorrow morning, DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan will visit Özel at the CHP Headquarters. It is expected that topics such as developments in Syria and the progress of the second opening process, referred to as a "Terror-Free Turkey," will come to the fore during the meeting.
As the week progresses, Özgür Özel will meet with IYI Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu on Thursday. He will then meet with Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan on Friday.
It was reported that both visits will serve as "congratulatory" visits on the occasion of Dervişoğlu and Erbakan being re-elected as chairmen at their respective party congresses.
