Özgür Özel visits Melih Meriç in hospital following knife attack

YENİ Party Chairman Özgür Özel visited YENİ Party Gaziantep MP Melih Meriç, who was injured in a knife attack last month, at the hospital where he is receiving treatment in Istanbul.

During the hospital visit, Özel received information regarding Meriç's health status and treatment process, and conveyed his best wishes for a speedy recovery. It was stated that Meriç's treatment continues following the attack.

Melih Meriç was hospitalized after the knife attack he suffered last month and spent some time in intensive care. Meriç, whose health condition was later reported to be improving, had stated in one of his post-attack remarks, “My health is getting better every day.”
