Özgür Özel visits the graves of Rauf Denktaş and Fazıl Küçük in the TRNC
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel visited the memorial tomb of R. Rauf Denktaş, the Founding President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), in Gönyeli, and the grave of Turkish Cypriot leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük in Hamitköy. Özel also wrote in Denktaş's memorial book.

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel visited the memorial tomb of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Founding President R. Rauf Denktaş in Gönyeli and the grave of Turkish Cypriot leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük in Hamitköy.
After laying a wreath at the memorial tomb of Founding President Denktaş, Özel wrote the following message in the memorial book: “Heroic Mujahid, Mr. President, I am honored to be here on the 40th anniversary of the TRNC, of which you are the founder. We remember you with mercy and gratitude. May your soul rest in peace, Özgür Özel, Chairman of the Republican People's Party.”
Özel then visited the grave of Turkish Cypriot leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük in Hamitköy and laid a wreath.
