Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş visits MHP leader Bahçeli

Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş visited MHP Chairman Bahçeli at his office.

The visit lasted half an hour, and Kurtulmuş and Bahçeli left the office together.

In a statement following the meeting, Kurtulmuş noted that very important tasks await the Parliament.

POINTED TO OCTOBER 1

Kurtulmuş said, "At the forefront of these is the exchange of views on establishing a polite language in Parliament, a mature and democratic deliberative style, and conduct befitting the glory of the Turkish nation, in order to make the Parliament function more effectively. The Parliament has a new Constitution, internal regulations, and the political parties election law ahead of it; these are issues we need to work on to advance our democratic level. By consulting with other political parties as well, we will put forward a constructive and functional parliamentary work starting from October 1."
