The People's Alliance Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) mayoral candidate Turgut Altınok attended the opening of the Keçiören Election Coordination Center. Speaking at the opening, Altınok targeted Mansur Yavaş. Altınok stated that Mansur Yavaş has neglected Ankara and that Ankara's last 5 years have been a wasted period.

Turgut Altınok said that if they win the election, his first task will be to initiate urban transformation in Keçiören.

Promising to demolish the Fatih Bridge and replace it with a four-lane interchange, Altınok stated that they would thus reduce traffic in Keçiören and cover Keçiören with metro networks.

Altınok said the following:

"Has traffic increased? The mayor says, 'Should I have built roads just so traffic would get congested?' Is this how one becomes a candidate? Can a mayor say this? He says, 'Did I close the roads that caused traffic?' The man is not even in Ankara. The mayor visits Ankara only occasionally; it is only after his ambition for the Vice Presidency ended that the candidacy for Ankara Metropolitan Municipality came to his mind. No one sees him on the streets of Ankara, but many see him on the streets of London."
