Tayyar praised Bahçeli's speech with the words, "He made a historic speech today," and stated that the framework of the speech was very well defined. He specifically drew attention to Bahçeli's expressions: "I am obliged to state that we do not find it appropriate for the relevant ministry to act as if nothing has happened, to refrain from self-criticism, and to insistently stay away from the area of responsibility of the governorship and the provincial special administration."
