President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with several heads of state at the G7 Leaders' Summit. President Erdoğan participated in the G7 High-Level Session on Africa and the Mediterranean-Artificial Intelligence and Energy as part of the summit.
Erdoğan chatted with US President Joe Biden during the G7 High-Level Session.
Erdoğan also had brief conversations with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres.
The summit is being attended by the leaders of the US, Japan, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, and the UK, as well as European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. At the summit, which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is also attending at the invitation of Italy, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the spiritual leader of Catholics Pope Francis, and the heads of state and government of Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, India, Jordan, Kenya, Mauritania, and Tunisia will also be present.
