Important message from President Erdoğan: 'Despite open embargoes...'

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan connected by phone to the Denizkurdu Exercise and delivered important messages.

Erdoğan stated, "Despite the secret and open embargoes sometimes imposed by our allies, we are constantly improving our defense capabilities and are engaged in a determined struggle on every front."

"WE ARE AT A DETERMINED LEVEL ON EVERY FRONT"

President Erdoğan noted the following:

"In addition to the TCG Anadolu, our efforts to provide our military with an even larger aircraft carrier are ongoing. Our 5th-generation aircraft, KAAN, has also successfully completed its second flight. Despite the secret and open embargoes sometimes imposed by our allies, we are constantly improving our defense capabilities and are engaged in a determined struggle on every front.

For the last 21 years, we have been making intense efforts to increase the deterrence of our military and strengthen its capacity. We place great importance on ensuring that our naval forces are at the highest level in terms of equipment and personnel."
