Türkiye newspaper columnist Cem Küçük made evaluations regarding the process that began with the statements of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli and continued with the call for the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan to lay down arms. As one of the names who has approached this process critically from the very beginning, Küçük issued a call to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to resolve the uncertainties.
"NO ONE KNOWS WHERE THE PROCESS IS HEADING"
Stating in his column today that Erdoğan should inform the public about the process, Küçük posed the following questions: "No one knows where the process is heading. Was Erdoğan aware of the process or not? If the PKK lays down its arms, is an amnesty on the table? What will be the fate of the terrorists in the mountains? What path is being followed with the US regarding the YPG in Syria? What exactly is the name of this process?"
Pointing to the uncertainty by saying "everyone is saying something different," Küçük argued that President Erdoğan should appear on television to explain all aspects of the process, using the following expressions:
“Our President should go on television and explain the entire process. This way, we would learn the details of the process from the most authoritative source.”
